Job summary

Golden Aluminum in Fort Lupton, CO is seeking a Quality/Process Engineer to develop and maintain all QA standards and ISO 9001 compliance, manage audits, and drive continuous improvement. You will lead training for line supervisors and operators, implement KPIs, and oversee internal audits and root cause analysis to improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency.

The role requires strong documentation and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• BS in Quality, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering is required.
• 5+ years direct experience as a quality and/or process engineer in a manufacturing environment; metals industry experience preferred.
• 2+ years experience leading a team of professionals.
• Six Sigma/Lean experience required; Greenbelt certification required; Blackbelt certification preferred.
• Experience implementing ISO 9001 Quality Management System and QA documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain QA standards and ISO 9001 procedures.
• Investigate customer complaints and drive corrective actions.
• Train line supervisors and operators on procedural changes to improve quality.
• Develop KPIs to support productivity and cost initiatives.
• Manage internal audit programs and document revisions for compliance.
• Represent the company during customer and regulatory audits.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma methods.
• Oversee daily task assignments and ensure schedule compliance.
