Job summary

The State of Michigan is seeking a Director for the Quality and Performance Division within the Unemployment Insurance Agency (UIA). Qualifications

• Education and experience pathways vary: a high school diploma with 5 years of professional experience (including 2 years in management)
• Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of management/program staff experience or equivalent
• Experience directing federal quality, compliance, and reporting functions preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, and control the agency's federal quality, compliance, performance, data validation, and reporting functions
• Lead two main divisions: Compliance and Data Analysis and Reporting
• Ensure adherence to USDOL requirements and performance standards; oversee ongoing improvement strategies
