Job summary

CommonSpirit Health seeks a Quality-Patient Safety Program Manager to lead ongoing quality improvement initiatives across hospital and medical staff departments. You will support QM, PS, and PI activities, coordinate improvement teams, and ensure regulatory readiness while protecting patient confidentiality in a dynamic healthcare setting.

You will apply nursing/clinical operations experience and data analysis to drive performance improvements, patient safety, and infection control.

Qualifications

• RN/clinical staff with three years in acute care.
• Current state license in the practicing field.
• One year of healthcare quality management or PI experience.
• Certification in healthcare quality or patient safety within two years of employment is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, implement, and coordinate QM/PS/PI activities for hospital departments and service lines.
• Coordinate performance improvement teams across multiple initiatives (clinical quality, patient safety, patient experience, efficiency).
• Ensure regulatory compliance (CMS HIQRP/HOQRP, TJC, Leapfrog) for data collection and reporting.
• Develop and implement data collection tools and processes (identify data elements, collect, abstract, validate).
• Facilitate meetings, present data, identify findings, and assist with action plans and implementation.
• Maintain knowledge of accreditation/licensing requirements and serve as a resource on these regulations.
• Assist with regulatory readiness and mock survey tracers.
