Job summary

Drug Plastics & Glass Company Inc. in Boyertown, PA is seeking a Packer Inspector to join our team. This hourly position offers 2nd and 3rd shift opportunities and focuses on packing finished product into cartons while ensuring that the product meets PQS standards.

You will follow GMPs, inspect bottles per policy, prepare cartons, apply labels, and help maintain a clean, safe, temperature-controlled work environment with paid time off plans and medical benefits options.

Qualifications

• Good mathematical skills to perform basic math calculations, including addition and subtraction.
• Ability to read effectively while performing duties and assess product quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Vision correctable to 20/20 to read materials and identify defects.
• Ability to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety guidelines, company policies and GMPs.
• Prepare cartons for stack packed or tumble packed products and place cartons as needed.
• Apply carton labels as defined.
• Inspect bottles according to policy and PQS requirements.
• Remove full cartons and close them per PQS procedures.
• Grind scrap bottles generated by machines.
• Complete and provide daily production reports to supervisor.
• Notify supervisor of any quality problems or equipment malfunctions.
