Job summary

International Motors, LLC is seeking a Quality Operations Supervisor at our IC Bus Plant to lead and develop a team of Quality Inspectors and Group Leads on a 4x10 schedule. You will drive inspection process improvements, root-cause analysis, and containment actions to protect customers and uphold quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years in production/manufacturing, or a Master’s with at least 1 year.
• Alternatively, 5+ years of production/manufacturing experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (sponsorship not anticipated).

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Quality Inspectors and Group Leads to build a high-performing team.
• Own and continuously improve the inspection process to ensure customer protection and zero tolerance for quality deviations.
• Drive root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methods and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Partner with manufacturing leadership to establish, execute, and sustain containment actions when quality issues arise.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Tooling, Engineering, and Staffing to resolve quality concerns and improve processes.
• Track, analyze, and report plant KPIs related to quality, safety, cost, and delivery, using data to drive decisions.
• Lead daily quality reviews and communicate trends, risks, and action plans to stakeholders.
• Support visual management systems and standard work to reinforce quality on the shop floor.
