Job summary

Stellantisfinancialservices seeks a Quality Operations Manager to oversee all quality control and inspection activities at the manufacturing plant, leading a team of Quality Supervisors across shifts. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality, or STEM related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing components, machining processes, and inspection methods.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, GD&T, and technical specifications.
• Experience with quality systems, tools, and methodologies such as SPC, FMEA, and root cause analysis.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of Quality Supervisors, Dyno Technicians, Quality Auditors, and Gage technicians across multiple shifts and departments.
• Develop and implement inspection procedures, work instructions, and quality standards for incoming materials, in-process components, pass through featuresand finished products.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant quality and safety standards.
• Perform audits of inspection processes, work cells, and documentation to verify adherence to specifications and quality plans.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify root causes of defects and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitorand analyze key quality metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Train and mentor inspection staff on proper measurement techniques, GD&G interpretation, and use of inspection equipment (CMMs, calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
• Participatein customer and third-party audits as a quality representative.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of inspection results, nonconformances, and quality reports.
