Job summary

Glanbia is seeking a Quality Operations Lead to support the Production Quality Assurance team at our Carlsbad facility. You will lead Quality Assurance Technicians, support production coverage, and drive improvements across the facility’s quality systems to ensure products meet customer and regulatory requirements.

You will oversee audits, investigations, CAPA, and trend analysis, working with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement corrective actions. 10% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience guiding QA technicians and teams.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems, audits, CAPA, and document control.
• Experience applying FDA current Good Manufacturing Practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve quality systems (audits, change control, document control, CAPA).
• Provide day-to-day leadership to QA Technicians and cover production needs.
• Lead internal/external audits and develop corrective action plans.
