Job summary

Alcon in Houston, TX is seeking a Quality Operations Associate to support the quality management system across the manufacturing facility. You will handle intake, scoping, documentation, initial investigation and triage of nonconformances to ensure timely resolution.

Responsibilities include logging events in Teamcenter, gathering records, and coordinating with cross-functional teams such as manufacturing, quality engineering, and MS&T. Fluency in English and a right to work are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +8 yrs; Assoc.+4 yrs)
• Fluent reading, writing, understanding and communication in English

Responsibilities

• Receive and log quality events in the quality management system (Teamcenter).
• Ensure events are documented with complete, accurate, and compliant records.
• Gather relevant information to clearly define the scope of the event.
• Track event progress to ensure timely closure.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, quality engineering, MS&T, material, etc.).
• Maintain high-quality data entry, ensuring traceability and audit readiness.
• Perform triage and risk assessment to determine impact, severity, and required investigation record type.
