Job summary

Kelly is seeking a Director of Quality & Operational Excellence to lead the Quality organization in a precision sheet metal and fabrication environment. You will build leadership structures, processes, accountability and quality systems to support growth.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations and Production to drive root-cause analysis, prevent defects and embed quality into manufacturing as a proactive function.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive quality experience in manufacturing.
• Proven leadership of quality teams and managers.
• Experience in precision sheet metal, metal fabrication, machining or similar.
• Lean/Six Sigma and ISO experience would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Quality organization, including managers and inspectors.
• Assess current Quality processes and implement improvements.
• Establish accountability, KPIs and quality standards.
• Build a proactive quality culture focused on prevention and CI.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations and Production to resolve issues.
• Drive measurable improvements in scrap, defects and customer complaints.
• Support audits and maintain quality systems across the organization.
