Job summary

STAT Home Health in Louisiana seeks an Experienced Home Health Quality Oasis Reviewer to lead OASIS audits, ensure accuracy, and support CMS PDGM compliance across patient records. You will collaborate with clinicians and use HCHB for workflow and documentation tracking to uphold billing accuracy.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in quality review, mandatory OASIS CURRENT certification (COS-C or HCS-O), and HCHB proficiency. COS-C/HCS-O is essential; HCS-D is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in home health quality review.
• OASIS CURRENT certification (COS-C or HCS-O) mandatory.
• HCHB (Homecare Homebase) proficiency required.
• Knowledge of PDGM and CMS home health regulations.

Responsibilities

• Review, audit, and process OASIS documentation for accuracy, compliance, and completeness.
• Ensure all OASIS data sets are completed and locked timely per CMS and agency standards.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to clarify documentation discrepancies or missing data.
• Verify ICD-10 coding and HHRG scoring in line with patient acuity and plan of care.
• Utilize Homecare Homebase (HCHB) for workflow processing, QA, and documentation tracking.
• Provide clinical and technical support to field clinicians for OASIS and HCHB questions.
• Monitor and reconcile outstanding documentation to maintain timely billing cycles.
• Support the case management team with coordination of care and interdisciplinary communication.
• Maintain knowledge of Medicare regulations, PDGM, and HHVBP requirements.

Qualifications:

• Mandatory proficiency with HCHB (Homecare Homebase)
• Strong working knowledge of OASIS-E, PDGM guidelines, and CMS home health regulations
• OASIS CURRENT certification (COS-C or HCS-O) MANDATORY
  • Home Health Coding Certification HCS-D Preferred
• Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
