Job summary

Barrett Petfood is seeking a Full-Time Quality Mill Tech in Brainerd, MN. Onsite role with competitive hourly pay and shift differentials. You will inspect grains, verify specs, and perform lab tests to ensure product quality and safety.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in basic math, biology and chemistry to assess product quality.
Keen attention to detail to identify deviations from GMPs and safety protocols.
Effective teamwork and communication across departments to uphold quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Inspect and sample incoming grains and raw materials for quality and contamination risks.
Verify flour grind specifications.
Perform analytical testing (GA analysis, mycotoxin screening).
Maintain lab equipment and cleanliness.
Monitor CCPs and preventive controls.
Document and review production records for accuracy and compliance.
Investigate non-conformances and support corrective actions.
