Job summary

CCS INC in Anaheim, CA, is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to perform dimensional and visual inspections of machined components, assemblies and finished products. You will use micrometers, calipers, height gauges and optical comparators to verify tolerances against engineering drawings.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, at least 2 years in a QC environment, experience with engines/engine parts, GD&T per ASME/ANSI, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a Quality Control environment.
• Experience with machined components and inspection tools.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and ASME/ANSI GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections of machined components, assemblies, and finished products.
• Use micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and optical comparators for measurements.
• Interpret drawings and apply GD&T per ASME/ANSI standards.
• Prepare NCRs and Inspection Reports as required.

Qualifications

• Manual inspections to identify surface defects using micrometers, calipers, height gauges and optical comparators.
• Experience with engines such as springs, valves and fasteners
• Interpret Blueprints, GD&T experience per ASME/ANSI standards.
• Documenting defects and creating Non-Conforming Material Reports
• 2 years’ experience in a Quality Control environment.
• Experience with machined components in all phases of inspection, including receiving
• Proven experience with manual inspection techniques and tools.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
• Experience with engine parts is a plus
• CMM experience is a plus
