Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials NA in United States seeks a results-driven QA support lead to represent the company, ensure customer requirements are implemented, and work with management to keep quality outcomes on track. This role requires shift Sunday to Thursday 6:30pm–5:30am and occasional on-call weekends.

You will coordinate inspections, train inspectors, manage staffing, and address inquiries while developing relationships to grow current accounts.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and multi tasking ability.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Previous experience in customer service and supervisory capacity.
• Preferred quality knowledge within an automotive environment.
• Understanding of measurement units and tolerancing; ability to train others in this area.
• Computer literate, able to utilize MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and email software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate sorting, inspection and packing assignments as negotiated with clients.
• Understand client needs and assignment requirements to ensure satisfactory completion.
• Hire and schedule employees, ensure work instructions and training.
• Evaluate employee performance and address issues per company policy.
• Develop Team Leaders to assist in start-ups and inspector training.
• Handle customer inquiries about specific jobs and investigate issues.
• Address conflicts among customers or employees as needed.
• Document all information related to jobs and customer/employee contacts.
• Complete required administrative duties and reports for each account.
• Develop relationships to secure additional business within current accounts.
• Review monthly payment status and coordinate with Credit Manager for delinquent accounts.
