Job summary

Keystone Powdered Metal Company in Lewis Run, PA, is seeking a full-time Quality Manager reporting to the Director of Quality and/or Plant Manager. The role focuses on control plans, SPC oversight, and continual improvement across QC and engineering interfaces.

Responsibilities include leading personnel, developing procedures, and ensuring compliance with IATF16949 and customer requirements. Strong analytical and leadership skills are essential for success in this on-site position.

Qualifications

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Good math skills and ability to use formulas; solve basic equations.
• Good organizational skills.
• Familiarity with gauging techniques, blueprint dimensioning and tolerancing.
• Able to comprehend computer software and program equipment as required.
• Familiarity with IATF16949 standard including core tools (PPAP, APQP, MSA, FMEA, and SPC).
• Ability to lead, train and drive change.
• Ability to use precision measuring equipment and interpret results.
• Strong understanding of SPC principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review and revise control plans.
• Review SPC charts and develop SPC summaries.
• Maintain, update and revise control limits.
• Coordinate and participate in capability studies on new and existing equipment.
• Work with engineering to establish, monitor and maintain capability.
• Lead lab personnel as required.
• Develop and revise quality procedures and quality assurance/manufacturing procedures.
• Provide input to continuous improvement and training of personnel.
