Job summary

Metz Strategic Solutions is seeking a Quality Manager for its Carlisle, PA area manufacturing facility. The role leads the Quality Function, develops and sustains the QMS, and drives CI and Six Sigma initiatives to meet all product specifications.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Engineering or Business, ISO implementation experience, and a Green Belt or higher. Strong leadership and customer interaction skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or Business; MBA/MS optional.
• ISO implementation and sustaining experience required.
• Green Belt or higher preferred.
• FMEA/PPAP/Six Sigma familiarity required.
• Strong interaction with internal/external customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Quality Function for the manufacturing company.
• Develop and sustain the QMS for the plant to meet specs.
• Drive all quality metrics for the plant.
• Provide leadership to Quality Engineers and staff.
• Drive CI efforts for quality improvements.
• Be the chief problem solver for major CAPAs.
• Manage key quality processes, procedures and policies.
• Utilize FMEAs in quality planning.
• Conduct daily quality audits across the plant.
• Ensure supplier incoming quality and initiate corrective actions.
