Job summary

Flex-Tec, Inc. is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the quality program for our Byromville, GA facility. The role focuses on ensuring the effectiveness of the QMS, driving continuous improvement, and coordinating audits with ISO standards.

Strong leadership and problem-solving skills are essential. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in quality management within high-volume manufacturing, expertise in ISO 9001 and Six Sigma, and experience in wire/wire harness fabrication is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
• Lean or Six Sigma certification desirable.
• Minimum 5 years in quality management in a process-oriented, high volume manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 3 years direct staff management and coaching experience.
• Wire & Cable, wire harness fabrication or closely related industry experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that quality processes are executed effectively and identify opportunities between product process and operations.
• Implement inspection methods to verify product release according to customer requirements.
• Measure, control, and maintain quality costs in operations; monitor KPIs.
• Develop action plans for processes and objectives that exceed goals.
• Oversee internal audits, supplier qualifications, and coordination with MRB.
