Job summary

Kelvion Products Inc. seeks a Quality Manager in Paducah, KY to lead Quality Engineering for complex mechanical and electrical systems, including Power Network Modules. You will manage tier-2 suppliers and apply strict quality controls from development through high-volume production.

The role requires ISO 9001 expertise, PPAP/APQP experience, and strong analytical skills to prevent field failures and stabilize global supply chains. Local onsite work is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from ABET-certified program.
• Experience in quality assurance and quality control fields.
• Excellent statistical analysis and quality assurance skills.
• ISO 9001 experience and ISO 9001 Auditor certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Quality Engineering for mechanical and electrical systems (Power Network Modules, Advanced Cooling Solutions, Pressure Vessels).
• Manage tier-2 suppliers from development through high-volume production with strict quality controls.
• Assess suppliers, audit facilities and processes to meet quality standards.
• Manage PPAP and APQP for new product introductions.
• Ensure compliance with ASME Section VIII and other global mandates.
• Verify ITP validation processes (hydrostatic testing, leak detection, radiography).
• Lead root-cause analyses (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone) for failures and leaks.
• Collaborate with suppliers to drive continuous quality improvements and report to senior management.
• Provide data for supplier scorecards and feed DFMEA/PFMEA inputs.
