  • Manage complex Production Part Approval Processes (PPAP) and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) for new product introductions.
  • Ensure all mechanical fabrications meet strict global mandates, including ASME Section VIII for pressure vessels.
  • Verify supplier execution of hydrostatic testing, helium leak detection, radiography, and other validation processes required by the Inspection Test Plan (ITP).
  • Drive rigorous 8D, 5‑Why, and Fishbone root‑cause analyses for critical structural leaks or electrical shorts.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to drive continuous improvement in their processes, performance, and quality management systems, serving as a liaison between our company’s senior management and the vendors to identify quality issues and develop solutions.
  • Feed manufacturing defect data and field‑failure metrics back to internal Design for Manufacturing (DFM) teams and influence inputs into the DFMEA & PFMEA processes.
  • Provide objective quality performance data and metrics for supplier scorecards.
Other Responsibilities
  • To ensure Kelvion’s Standard of Excellence, which includes quality, is incorporated into every product we produce.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to Global Code of Business Principles, Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, Vision and Values, and Operational Framework.

  • Auditing Skills: Experience in conducting internal audits and assessments per ISO 9001 and ASME Sect. VIII Div. I.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in all aspects of quality control, including data collection, documentation, and testing procedures.
Education And Experience
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET‑certified program preferred, or Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from a 4‑year ABET‑certified program.
  • Prior experience in quality assurance, quality control and related fields.
  • Excellent statistical analysis and quality assurance skills. In-depth knowledge of the technical aspects of manufacturing and engineering.
  • Good working knowledge of quality control standards and regulatory compliance.
