Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Locust Grove, GA is seeking a Quality Manager to oversee quality and maintenance for the site, ensuring that processes needed for the Quality Management System (QMS) are established, implemented and maintained.

You will report on QMS performance, recommend improvements, promote awareness of customer requirements, and maintain high levels of product/service conformity. The role includes Lean initiatives and supervisory duties.

Qualifications

• 4 years of quality and inventory experience in a distribution/warehousing setting.
• Experience in an ISO environment.
• Supervisory experience.
• MS Office with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute the QMS according to policies and ISO9001 requirements.
• Provide RCA guidance and develop effective CAPs.
• Manage Corrective Action Requests (CAR) with customer reps.
• Perform audit follow-up to verify corrective actions and preventive actions.
• Investigate facilities operations to troubleshoot and improve processes.
• Coordinate staff training and ensure timely training status review.
• Schedule and follow-up on work instructions with supervisors.
• Coordinate team activities for productive hours.
• Support Lean process improvement opportunities.
• Direct and prioritize site maintenance technician activities.
