Job summary

Magnetics, a division of Spang & Company, in Pittsburgh, PA, seeks a Quality Manager to lead end-to-end quality control and assurance to ensure products meet engineering specifications and customer quality requirements.

You will develop and maintain quality procedures, manage ISO 9001 and AS9100 compliance, conduct internal audits, and drive corrective actions per 8-D with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, quality management, or manufacturing.
• 5+ years of quality control/assurance experience.
• Experience in ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality management systems required.
• RoHS and REACH certifications experience a plus.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quality procedures and ensure conformance to specifications.
• Lead internal quality audits and supplier quality activities.
• Create control plans for materials, components and finished assemblies.
• Prepare discrepant material reports and 8-D corrective actions.
• Support Sales, Procurement and Logistics with quality and compliance tasks.
• Maintain ISO 9001 and AS9100 certification compliance.
