Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems seeks a Quality Manager 1 (1st Shift) for its on-site Baltimore, MD facility. You will direct 15–20 represented employees, drive on-time delivery, and lead continuous improvement initiatives across production lines.

The role requires ISO/LEAN experience and strong collaboration with engineering and program teams. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of quality/manufacturing experience (or 3+ years with a Master’s).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years in quality/manufacturing, or Master’s with 3+ years, or 9 years in lieu of degree.
• Need to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance.
• Experience leading teams or integrated projects.
• US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead 15–20 represented employees to meet monthly delivery objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement and lean projects in scope.
• Interface with engineering and program leadership for production phases.
• Audit and improve quality systems and documentation.
• Manage SAP/MES transactions and labor relations interactions.
• Support ISO, LEAN, and quality initiatives.
