Job summary

The Walsh Group, Ltd. seeks a Quality Manager I for a Federal Building project based in Havelock, NC.

The role oversees the implementation and execution of QMS and project-specific quality requirements, ensuring design and construction meet company policies, procedures and contract obligations. You will coach staff, manage quality processes, establish KPIs and QIRs, lead inspections and testing coordination with operations, consultants, and clients, and drive continuous improvement while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent field experience with relevant codes and standards.
• Minimum 7 years of AEC experience; 3 years in a quality role.
• Strong communication, critical thinking and time management.
• Knowledge of standards, specifications and job-related publications.

Responsibilities

• Quality champion for projects; manage quality, materials, documentation and close-out.
• Lead and mentor project staff in quality management principles.
• Establish and monitor KPIs and QIRs; drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate inspections, testing and test plans with teams and client.
• Support risk management to reduce exposure and improve profitability.
