Job summary

Solar 76 is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead the quality assurance and control function at our contract manufacturing facility focused on high-reliability solar industry products for renewable energy applications. The role drives continuous improvement, ensures ISO 9001 compliance, and targets First Pass Yield improvements in a high-volume electronics assembly environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
5–7 years of progressive quality management experience, preferably electronics manufacturing of power electronics.
Proven track record of FPY improvement, defect reduction, ISO 9001 implementations or recertifications, and IPQC systems.

Responsibilities

Maintain and lead the QMS in accordance with ISO 9001:2015, including internal audits and CAPA.
Drive FPY improvements across incoming, in-process, and final testing; target FPY > 98%.
Lead Lean Six Sigma initiatives (DMAIC, Kaizen, 5S) to reduce scrap and CoPQ.
Develop IPQC procedures, sampling plans, and go/no-go criteria for all production lines.
Oversee IQC, IPQC, and OQA for solar inverters and lithium battery systems.
Provide real-time quality reporting to production and senior management; highlight defects and countermeasures.
Manage supplier quality via audits, SCAR, and incoming inspections.
Mentor quality engineers and technicians; foster a quality-first culture.
