MLJ Contracting is seeking a Quality Manager to lead all quality-related functions on assigned New York projects. You will review submittals, document compliance, identify quality problems, and drive corrective actions to uphold safety and regulatory standards.

The role requires 10+ years total experience with at least 5 years in quality, including heavy civil project exposure such as MTA. A BS in engineering, CQE, and ISO-9000 Lead Auditor credentials are expected.

Qualificações

• 10 years of total experience with the past five in quality.
• Prior experience in quality-related functions on heavy civil projects (MTA).

Responsabilidades

• Review submittals to ensure contract requirements.
• Prepare reports documenting compliance or non-conformance.
• Identify and report quality issues or trends.
• Recommend corrective actions to quality problems.
• Lead project-wide system audits and supplier/subcontractor audits.
• Support QA to ensure design, procurement, and installation meet quality requirements.
• Write quality plans, procedures and audit checklists.
• Conduct inspections, material tests, and equipment inspections/testing.
• Develop and implement the Quality Plan and oversee all quality issues.
• Perform other duties as required.
