This is a hands-on role critical to quality assurance and compliance, requiring the ability to lead initiatives and influence key decisions. Candidates must have AWS CWI certification and extensive experience in QA/QC operations.

The position offers a competitive salary between $120,000 and $150,000, along with comprehensive benefits including 100% employer-paid medical coverage. A strong emphasis is placed on collaboration and proactive quality management.

Qualifications

• AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification required.
• 5+ years of QA/QC experience within structural steel fabrication required.
• Hands-on experience performing and interpreting NDT inspections required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain the Quality Management System in compliance with AISC.
• Serve as the primary QA/QC authority across all fabrication projects.
• Perform and oversee visual, dimensional, ultrasonic, and magnetic particle inspection.
• Coordinate and manage third‑party inspection vendors.
