Job summary

The Pivot Group Network is seeking a Quality Manager in Battle Creek, MI to lead the quality organization and drive conformance across the product lifecycle. You will develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) to meet industry standards while mentoring the quality team and coordinating root-cause analyses.

Collaborating with R&D, production, and supply chain, you will embed quality in every stage of design, manufacture, and inspection.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of experience in quality assurance/control within a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and other quality management systems.
• Proven experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Lead and manage the quality control team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Oversee product inspection and testing processes to ensure products meet specified quality standards.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to product quality, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct internal and external audits to assess the effectiveness of the QMS and identify areas for improvement.
• Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for process optimization.
• Collaborate with R&D, production, and supply chain teams to integrate quality into all stages of the product lifecycle.
• Manage the calibration and maintenance program for all quality control equipment.
