Nidec is seeking a critical technical manager within its Automation Quality team to lead motors, gearboxes, machining, testing, and electronics drives quality initiatives. You will guide supplier qualification, product transfers, and cost-reduction efforts while ensuring ISO compliance and customer satisfaction.

With a focus on new product development and safe launches, the role requires strong project management, 8D problem solving, and collaboration across global teams.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Applied Science.
• Minimum 5 years of quality management and manufacturing engineering experience.
• ISO 9001 lead auditor experience or equivalent; AIAG core tools training.
• Six Sigma Green Belt required; Black Belt preferred.
• Travel domestic and/or international ~25%.

Responsabilidades

• Manage teams and projects to implement new products without quality, warranty or safety issues.
• Lead New Product APQP and Safe Launch processes to prevent issues.
• Drive action plans to improve quality metrics and reduce costs of quality.
• Lead 8D problem solving meetings and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams to assure satisfaction.
