Job summary

Nidec Motor Corporation is seeking a Manager of Quality Assurance to lead quality systems and governance across our plant and product lines in the United States. This role emphasizes prevention and strategic QA management, reporting to senior leadership.

You will drive CAPA, audits, and risk mitigation while partnering with Operations and Engineering to embed quality into design and processes. A strong candidate has extensive QA leadership experience in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field.
• Master's degree or professional certification (CQE, CQA, Six Sigma Black Belt) preferred.
• Typically 7+ years of progressive experience in quality assurance, quality systems, or regulated environments.
• Prior people management or QA leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, and maintenance of quality assurance systems and procedures.
• Ensure effective document control, change management, and quality governance practices.
• Lead preparation for and response to internal, customer, and regulatory audits; manage CAPA processes and verification of effectiveness.
• Identify quality risks through audits, data analysis, and process reviews; implement preventive actions.
• Partner with Operations and Engineering to ensure quality is built into processes and designs; oversee control plans and validation activities.
• Define and track QA KPIs such as audit results, CAPA effectiveness, and compliance trends.
