Qualifications

  • Lead the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with industry and customer requirements.
  • Experience leading audits and corrective actions in regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Expertise in GD&T and quality tools like RCCA, FMEA, SPC, APQP, Lean Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

  • Lead QMS maintenance and ensure compliance with industry and customer requirements.
  • Manage internal, customer, and regulatory audits and timely corrective actions.
  • Oversee nonconformance investigations, MRB activities, and root-cause actions.
  • Provide leadership and technical guidance to quality inspectors and technicians.
  • Champion Lean Six Sigma and other quality improvement programs.
  • Ensure quality documentation, inspection records, and product traceability.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and supply chain to resolve quality issues.
  • Support supplier quality initiatives and corrective actions.
  • Develop and present quality metrics and KPI reporting to leadership.

Description
  • Lead and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with industry and customer requirements.
  • Manage internal, customer, and regulatory audits while ensuring timely completion of corrective actions.
  • Oversee nonconformance investigations, MRB activities, and root cause corrective action initiatives to prevent recurrence of quality issues.
  • Provide leadership and technical guidance to quality inspectors and technicians across all stages of production.
  • Champion continuous improvement programs utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC, and other quality methodologies.
  • Ensure accurate quality documentation, inspection records, and complete product traceability.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to resolve quality concerns and improve performance.
  • Support supplier quality initiatives, including supplier evaluations and corrective action management.
  • Develop and present quality metrics and KPI reporting to leadership, driving data-based decision making.
Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical discipline.
  • Demonstrated quality leadership experience within aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of AS9100, AS9102 (FAI), ISO 9001, NADCAP, and related quality standards.
  • Experience leading audits and working with regulatory requirements such as FAA and EASA.
  • Expertise in GD&T and advanced quality tools including RCCA, FMEA, SPC, APQP, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Experience utilizing ERP and Quality Management software systems.
  • Proven leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • ASQ certifications (CQE, CQA) and/or Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.
