Job summary

A leading aerospace engineering firm is seeking a full-time Quality Manager to oversee the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with industry standards like AS9100 and NADCAP. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in aerospace manufacturing quality management and will contribute to fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing quality management.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100, NADCAP, and ISO standards.
• Experience with special processes, such as heat treat, NDT, and chemical processing.
• Experience with special processes (e.g., heat treat, NDT, chemical processing)
• Proficiency in quality tools: FMEA, Control Plans, Gage R&R, SPC

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Quality Management System (QMS) adhering to AS9100 and NADCAP requirements.
• Oversee internal and external audits, including NADCAP special process audits.
• Develop and maintain quality documentation, procedures, and control plans.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (8D, 5-Why)
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and customer service to resolve quality issues and foster continuous improvement

Skills
