Job summary

1Source Talent Acquisition is seeking a senior quality leader for a flagship metals plant. You will own the site’s quality strategy, drive toward zero defects, and use data and modern tools to reduce complaints and cost of quality.

You’ll lead root cause investigations and coach a strong quality team on the floor as a performance-focused leader. You bring a Bachelor’s in Engineering or related field and 7+ years in manufacturing with 5+ years leading teams, ITAR eligibility, and experience in

Job description

Lead quality at a flagship plant that’s growing fast.

This is a cornerstone plant for a well-established international metals manufacturer, and it’s investing heavily:

• ~40 capital projects underway, with a major push into automation
• Automotive and aerospace OEM customers with demanding specs
• Real upward mobility inside a global organization

Your mission:

Own the site’s quality strategy and drive toward zero defects. You’ll use data and modern tools to cut complaints, returns and cost of quality. You’ll lead root cause investigations, serve as the customer’s voice in the plant, and coach a strong quality team on the floor. This is a performance-focused leadership role, not audits or paperwork.

You bring:

• Bachelor’s in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality or related
• 7+ years in manufacturing and 5+ years leading teams
• Proven results reducing defects, complaints or cost of quality
• 8D, A3, DMAIC or similar problem-solving experience
• ITAR eligibility
• Extrusion, metals, automotive or aerospace experience is a plus
