Job summary

A leading staffing agency is seeking a Quality leader to drive plant-level performance and ensure customer satisfaction. This role requires overseeing the Quality Management System, leading a team, and maintaining compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, extensive experience in Quality within manufacturing, and strong leadership and communication skills. Job description

We’re looking for a hands‑on Quality leader to own and drive plant‑level quality performance, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement. This is a high‑visibility role with full responsibility for the Quality Management System and team leadership.

What You Will Do

• Lead site Quality strategy in partnership with plant leadership
• Act as the primary customer quality interface, ensuring expectations are met
• Own problem resolution (internal & external) using 8D and structured methods
• Drive customer scorecard performance and corrective actions
• Lead and develop the Quality team (daily operations, staffing, budget)
• Oversee Quality Systems (IATF 16949, ISO 9001) and ensure compliance
• Support new product launches (APQP, PPAP) with customers and suppliers
• Lead audits (internal, customer, regulatory)
• Analyze quality metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Approve key quality documentation (Control Plans, SWIs, deviations)
• Ensure production readiness, validation, and error‑proofing (Poka‑Yoke)
• Own containment actions and ensure proper execution and closure
• Maintain authority to stop production for quality, safety, or risk issues

What You Will Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a technical field
• 7+ years in Quality within manufacturing
• 5+ years of leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 (Lead Auditor preferred)
• Expertise in core tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, GD&T
• Advanced problem‑solving skills (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, etc.)
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
