BY Recruiting partners with a precision manufacturing company in Lehigh County, PA to hire a Quality Manager. This hands-on leadership role owns the quality function in a production machining environment, guiding engineers and inspectors as the primary quality contact for customers and suppliers.

Pay ranges from $90,000 to $130,000 base plus bonus. On-site with relocation negotiable for the right candidate. Relocation negotiable; benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5–7+ years in quality, including people management.
• Strong IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and SPC experience.

Mansioni

• Lead, maintain, and improve an IATF 16949 Quality Management System, including audit readiness.
• Build and develop a team of quality engineers and inspectors.
• Drive APQP for new launches and engineering changes, and own PPAP submission and approval.
• Lead root cause and corrective action (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone) on internal, customer, and supplier issues.
• Track and improve scrap, rework, customer complaints, and PPM.
• Implement SPC to ensure process capability and stability.
• Lead MRB and drive timely disposition of nonconforming material.

We are partnering with an established precision manufacturing company in Lehigh County, PA to hire a Quality Manager.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You will own the quality function in a production machining environment, lead a team of quality engineers and inspectors, and serve as the primary quality contact for customers and suppliers.

Pay: $90,000 to $130,000 base plus bonus. On-site. Relocation negotiable for the right candidate.

What you'll do

• Lead, maintain, and improve an IATF 16949 Quality Management System, including audit readiness
• Build and develop a team of quality engineers and inspectors
• Drive APQP for new launches and engineering changes, and own PPAP submission and approval
• Lead root cause and corrective action (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone) on internal, customer, and supplier issues
• Track and improve scrap, rework, customer complaints, and PPM
• Implement SPC to ensure process capability and stability
• Lead MRB and drive timely disposition of nonconforming material

What you bring

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5 to 7+ years in quality, including people management
• Strong IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and SPC experience
• Background in machining, castings, forgings, or automotive manufacturing
• Hands-on with CMM, gages, and inspection equipment
• CQE or Six Sigma certification is a plus
