Job summary

Per Sé Group seeks an experienced Quality Manager to lead field QA/QC for a large-scale renewable energy construction project, including BESS. You will implement the site quality program, oversee inspections, identify deficiencies, and ensure compliance with drawings, specs, codes, and manufacturer requirements.

The role covers civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical construction with responsibility for NCRs, inspection records, and continuous improvement across the project site.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of construction quality / QA/QC experience.
• Experience on utility-scale renewable energy projects.
• BESS/utility-scale battery construction experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of drawings, specifications, codes, and calibration requirements.
• Proficiency with MS Office and documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of the site QA/QC program.
• Review IFC drawings, specifications, contracts, installation manuals, submittals, codes, and standards.
• Coordinate pre-construction quality alignment meetings with EPC contractors.
• Oversee quality activities across civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical construction.
• Manage Quality Inspectors and field inspection activities.
• Conduct quality surveillance and identify installation deficiencies and potential systemic issues.
• Participate in First Build / Golden Row / Golden Tower inspections.
• Issue and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and corrective actions.
• Review contractor inspection checklists, testing documentation, and calibration records.
• Monitor construction for compliance with manufacturer requirements and applicable industry standards.
• Analyze inspection results and trends to drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain quality records, lessons learned, and project documentation.
• Partner with Construction and Safety leadership to promote safe, high-quality project execution.

Per Sé Group is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to support construction of a large-scale renewable energy project. This is a hands-on field leadership role responsible for implementing the project quality program, overseeing inspections, identifying deficiencies, and ensuring construction meets drawings, specifications, codes, manufacturer requirements, and industry best practices.

Utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) experience is highly preferred, although strong candidates with quality leadership experience across solar, wind, substations, or other utility-scale energy construction will also be considered.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT

• 3–5+ years of construction quality / QA/QC experience
• Quality management experience on utility-scale renewable energy projects
• BESS / utility-scale battery construction experience strongly preferred
• Experience with solar, wind, substations, or other power generation projects also highly valued
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, contract exhibits, and installation requirements
• Knowledge of applicable construction codes, standards, testing, inspection, and equipment calibration requirements
• Experience leading inspectors or other field quality personnel preferred
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify quality risks before they impact the project
• Excellent communication, leadership, documentation, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and OneNote
