Job summary

Xiphias Cambridge is seeking a Quality Manager to lead quality assurance across manufacturing and post-manufacturing support, ensuring QMS effectiveness and customer compliance. You will drive continuous improvement in a die casting environment and oversee a team of quality professionals.

The role requires leadership across departments and strong collaboration with customers and suppliers to uphold quality standards and timely problem resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 5+ years of related experience.
• Alternatively, 10+ years of industry-specific experience including supervisory responsibilities.
• Ability to analyze drawings, specifications, and SPC/Cpk data.
• Ability to distill requirements into practical form, fit, and function.
• Ability to analyze manufacturing processes to identify root causes and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Manage, improve, and maintain the Quality Management System for continued effectiveness.
• Lead a team of quality engineers and inspectors.
• Oversee QC department workflow, including inspection.
• Organize, promote, and manage companywide quality improvement efforts.
• Collaborate with customers, vendors, certification bodies on QMS issues.
• Oversee APQP activities; prepare PPAPs/FAIs.
• Prepare, implement, and maintainQuality Control work instructions.
• Manage RMA and internal MRB processes.
• Lead investigations and corrective actions related to quality issues.

We supply casting, machining, assembly, and finishing to customers seeking aluminum & zinc components.We are looking for a Quality Manager who will be a critical part of our management team and have a tangible effect on the success of the business.The Quality Manager is responsible for all quality assurance functions throughout the manufacturing process and post-manufacturing support. The Quality Manager serves as a leader in the business, working closely with all internal departments and external customers.**Key responsibilities:*** Manage, improve, and maintain the Quality Management System for continued effectiveness.* Manage a team of quality engineers and inspectors.* Manage the flow of work through the QC department, including inspection.* Organize, promote, and manage companywide quality improvement efforts.* Work directly with customers, vendors, certification bodies, etc. on issues related to the QMS.* Within manufacturing facility, oversee APQP activity.
