Job summary

Red River Science & Technology, LLC seeks a Quality Manager to oversee ISO compliance and develop, implement, and maintain quality and safety policies and procedures across programs in Alaska. The role emphasizes maintaining ISO standards (9001:2015, 14001) and ensuring safety requirements in all areas.

Responsibilities include establishing objectives, measuring performance, conducting root-cause analyses, and driving continuous quality improvements while managing documentation and compliance

Qualifications

  • Three (3) years of quality control experience in an industrial/technical environment.
  • Three (3) years of experience with ISO programs or ISO operations; can be concurrent.
  • Must have knowledge of Safety standards and environmental issues.
  • Must maintain a quality management system in accordance with ISO standards.
  • Knowledge of Army logistical functions and ability to improve logistics programs.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Computer literacy with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Valid driver's license without restrictions.

Job description

Position Summary
The Quality Manager (QM) is responsible for all aspects of ISO compliance and the establishment of internal processes/controls. The QM is also responsible for developing, implementing, managing, and maintaining effective Quality and Safety policies and procedures that meet contract requirements and the criteria for ISO compliance in all areas as well as company and government safety requirements.

Essential Functions Of The Position
  • Prepare, maintain, enforce, and update QC plans to drive performance using ISO 9001:2015 standards across the program and compliance with ISO 14001 standards in all areas.
  • Establish program objectives performance goals and assess progress .
  • Establish operational metrics/key indicators for process control and on-going quality process improvements .
  • Conduct root cause/corrective action analysis.
  • Performs additional relevant duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities

No direct supervisory duties.

Physical Demands
  • Required to walk, stand, sit and move about the property for long periods of time. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment
  • Indoor/Outdoor; exposure to external environmental conditions possible.
  • Noise level can range from minimal to intense.
Required Minimum Qualifications
  • Three (3) years of experience performing quality control in an industrial/technical environment.
  • Three (3) years of experience in administrative, professional, analytical or other work related to International Organization for Standard (ISO) programs or operations is also required. These can be concurrent time periods.
  • Must have knowledge of Safety standards and general experience in dealing with environmental issues.
  • Must possess the knowledge to maintain a quality management system in accordance with applicable ISO Standards.
  • Must possess broad knowledge of Army logistical functions and the ability to analyze, develop, evaluate, advise or promote improvements in logistical programs.
  • Must have strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have strong organizational and group presentation skills.
  • Well-developed multi-tasking and time management skills.
  • Must have computer literacy skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Possess a Valid Drivers’ License without special restrictions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ISO 9000 Lead Auditor qualification preferred.

  • Must be a US Citizen.
