Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA INC. in Alamo, Tennessee, seeks a Quality Manager to translate global quality strategies into local actions, embedding high standards in daily operations and championing the voice of the customer across the factory and beyond.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years in quality within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems and ISO standards.

Responsibilities

  • Champion health, safety, and environmental compliance across all quality activities.
  • Lead the factory Quality Improvement Plan aligned with global strategies.
  • Embed customer feedback into quality initiatives and resolve escalations.
  • Ensure ISO 9001 compliance and continuous certification readiness.
  • Drive quality assurance, control, and risk management practices.
  • Lead corrective actions using structured problem-solving methods.
  • Foster a culture of Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement.
  • Track, analyze, and report quality KPIs to guide decision-making.
