Job summary

BENTELER Group in Shreveport, LA seeks a professional to lead Quality Management initiatives, sustain QMS, and drive continuous improvement across processes. Strong auditing, CAPA, FMEA, and data analysis are essential.

Responsibilities include maintaining procedures, supporting supplier quality, and coordinating internal/external audits while ensuring compliance with API/ISO/TS standards and English-language documentation.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification.
  • At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the Quality Management System area.
  • Knowledge of tubular and/or steel manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of API/ASTM/TS/ISO standards and specifications.
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems.
  • Must be able to manage all aspects of process control development.
  • Previous experience working with SAP preferred.
  • Detail oriented with proven analytical, problem identification and resolution skills.
  • Excellent command over English with good editing and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to organize, present, and explain complex data clearly.

  • Process improvements; develop, revise and implement procedures.
  • Develop, maintain and improve tools for Quality.
  • Support internal, product/process audits and external audits.
  • Support CAPA program, FMEAs, control plans.
  • Support investigation/tracking of customer complaints.
  • Maintenance and continual improvement of QMS.
  • Interpret standards (API/ISO/TS) to update procedures and communicate with team.
  • Plan and support product/process audits, internal and external.
  • Determine system improvements; implement changes.
  • Support QA/QC/Operations with development and release of procedures.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues during implementation.

Core Responsibilities

  • Support QA/ QC/ Operations and other functional teams in the development and releasing procedures
  • Work with the suppliers in resolving any quality issues during implementation phase of Quality Tools

Job Requirements
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
  • At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the Quality Management System area,
  • Knowledge of tubular and/ or steel manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of API / ASTM/ TS/ ISO standards and specifications.
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems
