Job summary

Narda-MITEQ in Hauppauge, NY is seeking an Associate Manager, Quality Management to lead the quality team, develop policies, and drive improvements to meet customer specs and company standards. This full-time role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering with 6+ years in electronics manufacturing (aerospace/defense preferred), AS9100/ITAR/MIL‑SPEC familiarity, and strong communication skills.

Six Sigma/Lean is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or closely related field; minimum 6 years in electronics manufacturing, aerospace/defense preferred.
• Defense/microelectronics environment experience; familiarity with AS9100, ITAR, MIL-SPEC.
• Professional communication and presence; Six Sigma/Lean experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the quality team and manage the AS9100 QMS certification.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to improve reliability and reduce cost of quality.
• Oversee customer and supplier quality audits and scorecards; interface with customers and teams.
