Job summary

JBS USA is seeking a Machine Operator GL3 for the 2nd shift in Mason, Ohio. The position starts at $20 per hour with a $1 shift differential, and involves precise adjustments, basic troubleshooting, and programming adjustments as needed. The role is a crucial quality checkpoint before products reach customers.

Responsibilities include setting up equipment, loading/unloading, monitoring lines, and ensuring safety, GMP, and food safety standards. Benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in General Production 2.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years production industry experience preferred.
• Understanding and compliance with safety rules/policies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work area for pre- and post-operational activities.
• Load, unload, and transfer product to and from equipment and conveyors.
• Monitor production lines and supply and replenish packaging materials as necessary.
• Sort, weigh, wrap, label, verify or measure product to meet specifications.
• Inspect and remove defective products and packaging materials from the process.
• Arrive at workstation on time, complete tasks and follow supervisor directions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and perform LOTO procedures.
• Modify and create program settings to meet production standards and troubleshoot.
