Job summary

Alamance Foods, Inc. is seeking a Quality Line Technician to perform in-line inspections and help ensure product quality and food safety. You will monitor critical control points, document results, and assist with line startups and CAPA actions.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1+ year related experience, and knowledge of GMPs/HACCP. Work environment is manufacturing with exposure to varying temperatures and moving equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of experience in manufacturing, quality, or production environment.
• Basic knowledge of GMPs and food safety practices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or inconsistencies.
• Ability to accurately record and communicate data.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-line quality checks on products across aerosol, pops, and beverage lines.
• Monitor CCPs including fill weights, temperatures, seal integrity, and product appearance.
• Accurately document quality checks, inspections, and test results.
• Identify and escalate quality concerns or deviations to Quality and Production leadership.
• Verify labeling, coding, and packaging meet required specifications.
• Support root cause investigations and corrective actions (CAPA) as needed.
• Assist with line startups, changeovers, and product validation processes.
• Ensure compliance with GMPs, HACCP, SQF standards, and all food safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and quality standards.
• Support internal audits, inspections, and regulatory visits.
