Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Madison is seeking a Director of Quality Management to lead clinical quality, accreditation readiness, and patient safety initiatives. This LTACH-focused role partners with the CEO, CNO and HR to drive performance and a culture of continuous improvement.

You will oversee survey activities, QAPI governance, and data-driven reporting, while guiding staff training and development and ensuring compliance with TJC and CARF standards.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with valid state license.
• Experience in quality, survey readiness, risk management, infection control, employee health or education.
• Familiarity with accrediting standards (TJC, CARF preferred).
• CPHQ certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate survey activities to maintain accreditation, certification, and licensure.
• Organize monthly interdisciplinary QAPI team meetings per calendar.
• Review and analyze quarterly quality improvement reports.
• Assist Medical Director and QPD with quality improvement activities.
• Lead RCA activities at least annually for level 3-4 incidents.
• Perform monthly quality data entry, analysis and reporting.
• Promote employee training and education in the workplace.
• Collaborate with leadership to meet reporting requirements.
