Job summary

Actalent in Sacramento, CA is seeking a hands-on Quality Manager to own quality across the manufacturing lifecycle, from supplier qualification to customer satisfaction. You will lead a cross-functional team, build systems, and drive continuous improvement.

The role requires 7+ years in manufacturing quality, 3+ years leadership, and strong QMS, CAPA, MRB, and ISO familiarity. Onsite with competitive benefits and a path to world-class product quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in progressive quality experience within manufacturing.
• 3+ years leading quality teams or quality functions.
• Strong knowledge of QMS, CAPA, MRB, audits, and non-conforming material processes.
• Experience with supplier quality management, including supplier audits, FAI, PPAP, and corrective actions.
• Customer-facing quality experience involving complaint resolution and 8D reporting.
• Experience performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Quality Leadership: Develop and maintain quality standards, inspection criteria, and acceptance requirements.
• Customer Quality: Manage complaints, warranty claims, and field investigations; deliver 8D reports.
• Quality Systems Management: Own QMS, CAPA, audits, and KPI reporting; monitor trends.
• Supplier Quality: Lead supplier qualification, audits, and development; manage FAI and corrective actions.
• Team Development: Lead quality inspectors and technicians; foster continuous improvement.
• Growth & Strategic Projects: Support NPI and facility expansion initiatives.
