Job summary

Element Materials Technology is seeking a Quality Manager for our Warren, MI lab to drive quality assurance and improvement. You will oversee the eQMS, maintain ISO/IEC 17025, and lead internal and external assessments with A2LA and other bodies.

You will partner with BU Quality Director and location GMs to embed quality policies, training, and proactive quality culture across the facility. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years in an ISO quality environment.
• Experience in ISO/IEC 17025 environments is required.
• Experience with A2LA, ISO 17025 and quality systems rules.
• Ability to lead quality investigations and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and extend accreditations (ISO/IEC 17025) and regulatory requirements.
• Implement and run the QMS and controls for inspection/testing.
• Lead day-to-day QMS implementation with colleagues.
• Drive a culture of quality across laboratory operations.
• Ensure customer expectations through QA/QC processes and reporting.
• Manage assessments by A2LA and other bodies; respond to findings.
• Develop and train on eQMS, SOPs, and quality documentation.
• Monitor KPIs like First Time Right, NCRs, and customer outages.
• Collaborate with operations and quality community; travel up to 25%.
