Job summary

Ingersoll Rand plc seeks a Product Quality Leader to own the organization’s response to product quality issues affecting customers. You will set priorities, drive escalation and resolution, and establish preventive systems to reduce recurrence and strengthen reliability.

You will work across Product Management, Engineering, Manufacturing Quality, Supply Chain, Customer Support, Services, and Executive Leadership to improve quality performance and deliver superior customer experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in product quality, engineering, technical support, or leadership roles (preferably in manufacturing or industrial).
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Proven experience resolving critical customer-impacting issues.
• Strong expertise in quality management systems, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of reliability engineering, incident management, and customer support operations.
• Experience working with executive leadership and strategic customers.
• Demonstrated success driving organizational change and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Prevent quality risks by embedding quality through product lifecycle.
• Lead responses to customer-impacting quality events with rapid containment.
• Strengthen governance, accountability, and escalation processes for quality issues.
• Embed lessons learned into standards, procedures, and operating practices.
• Establish metrics, KPIs, and a Repeat Issue Prevention Program across sites.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product Management to prioritize quality in roadmaps.
