Job summary

Rocket EMS, Inc. is seeking a Quality Lead to oversee daily quality operations in our PCBA manufacturing facility.

You will lead Quality Technicians and Inspectors, drive root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to ensure products meet customer specifications and standards across assembly and testing. You will collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain to sustain a culture of quality excellence, support audits, and promote Lean/Six Sigma initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree/technical cert preferred.
• 2+ years in electronics manufacturing or process support in contract manufacturing.
• Familiarity with SMT, through-hole, reflow and soldering processes.
• IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily quality operations and lead the quality team.
• Ensure inspections meet IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, and customer requirements.
• Lead root cause analysis and CAPA activities for internal and customer issues.
• Facilitate MRB meetings and ensure timely disposition of nonconforming materials.
• Support audits and drive continuous improvement with cross-functional teams.
