Zumbrota Drivetrain is seeking a Quality Supervisor/Lead to own the overall quality for remanufactured and new products, from incoming components through final inspection and warranty return analysis. The role leads the QA room, analyzes defects, and drives continuous improvement with cross-functional teams.

The position involves hands-on inspection, dyno work, and supervising QA staff while partnering with production to reduce warranty rates.

Qualifications

• Strong automotive background required.

Responsibilities

• Own inspections on new and warranty returned goods to determine root causes.
• Lead weekly quality meetings and monitor warranty trends.
• Supervise QA room and QA Tech staff daily.
• Collaborate with production to meet warranty targets by product class.
• Inspect production units with QA Techs and operate the dyno.
• Document nonconforming parts and coordinate with Purchasing/Suppliers.
