Job summary

Z1 Motorsports is seeking a Quality Control Technician to help meet engineering and quality targets at the Villa Rica distribution center. You will inspect and sort parts, document outcomes, and support audits to safeguard product quality and customer satisfaction.

The role requires reading mechanical drawings, using hand tools, and Excel-based QA documentation, with some travel between facilities and ability to lift 40 lbs. It is a hands-on, team-oriented, on-site position in Georgia.

Qualifications

• Experience using basic hand tools and measuring equipment.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and extract critical measurement information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for quality documentation.
• Clear and timely communication of inspection findings.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Work in hot or cold warehouse environments about 30% of the time.
• Ability to travel between Z1 Motorsports facilities (~15 min).
• High School Diploma, GED, or higher.
• Able to lift 40 lbs+ and sit/stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, sort & rework automotive performance parts in team or solo settings.
• Complete Quality Inspection documentation.
• Perform Quality Control Audits at both Z1 Motorsports facilities as needed.
• Alert staff of quality issues and begin containment actions.
• Assist with non-Quality Site 2 operations on a limited basis.
• Pre-Pack Assembly assistance.
