Job summary

Kronospan is seeking a Lab Technician to perform tests, analyze data, and maintain lab equipment to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance. The role involves preparing samples, conducting chemical tasks, and presenting trends to leadership.

The candidate will work closely with production to support safe and efficient operations. Responsibilities include starting and stopping lab equipment, communicating results, and assisting with equipment improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to read and follow instructions and safety policies.
• Strong problem solving and hands-on skills with tools.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow safety procedures and work instructions.
• Set up, operate, and shut down laboratory equipment.
• Conduct quality inspections of raw and in-process materials.
• Prepare panel samples per standardized requirements.
• Carry out basic chemical tasks with raw materials and finished products.
• Communicate quality results and trends to leadership.
• Assist in installing or upgrading equipment as needed.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety standards in the lab.
