Job summary

Green Plains Inc. is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support QA/QC operations and ensure high quality and yield. You will follow QMS procedures, perform testing, document results, and report to the QC Lab Manager.

The role requires familiarity with laboratory analytics, calibration of HPLC/GC/NIR/IC, data handling, and compliance with FDA/cGMP guidelines. A clean safety record and willingness to pass pre-employment checks are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field is preferred, or an Associate degree with 3+ years lab experience.
• Experience with data analysis software: Multiquant, MassHunter, ChemStation, Lab Solutions.
• Familiarity with FDA guidelines and cGMP is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance.
• Monitor inventory and use of laboratory chemicals and supplies.
• Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
• Perform sample collection, preparation, and analysis per procedures.
• Send samples to outside labs for analytical testing and document results.
• Prepare reports and analyze data; communicate abnormal results.
